Cantors, choristers, and musicians comprise our Music Ministry. Our members serve during Holy Mass each Sunday as well as during special liturgical celebrations during Christmas, Lent and Easter and other feast days during the year.

We enjoy performing a wide variety of musical styles, catering to both English and Filipino compositions. We have an inspiring environment where members are encouraged, led by experienced choir masters, to learn sacred music in order to lead the congregation worshippers in liturgical singing. Our ministry members comprise a lively mix of people of all ages, backgrounds and interests united by our love of music.
Our members coalesce into different choir groups to serve particular Mass times scheduled each week. The Assumption choir notably serve during the Sunday noon mass celebrated in Tagalog to cater to Filipino parishioners. The other choir groups serve in the other English masses. During Christmas, Lent/Easter, Feast days and on special mass celebrations, all the choir groups merge to form the Grand Assumption Choir as we unite our voices, together with the congregation present, in singing to the Lord with one spirit.
We always welcome new members, singers and musicians alike. We especially welcome our youths so we can organize a Youth Choir. Each choir group has its own weekly schedule of practice sessions.
